In 2009 I co-owned a section in Governors Bay, Christchurch.
The section had been on the market on and off for over a year both with Trade Me and and other real estate agent in a very flat market.
Min Sarginson took over the marketing of the property when one of her agents left. I found Min to be thoroughly professional. She immediately contacted and set up separate meetings with myself and the co-owner .
She then proactively worked with buyers who showed interest in the section. This resulted in two offers from two different parties - the first offers in over a year.
Given the state of the market this process took some time and Min would always ring and leave a message giving feedback on the buyer's progress.
The price achieved was realistic for the market and it was a relief to have the section sold so I could utilise the funds elsewhere.

We chose Min Sarginson Real Estate Ltd. to market our place in Governors Bay because of a number of factors really.
She was the local expert, had a strong presence in the harbour area, understood the local market and we felt that small and focused was good. The larger real estate companies don't work as a team - and were really only there to sign you up. Only the office that set up the listings seem to care - so in our books any advantage of size was gone.
Min also lives in the bay area - which means she lives and breathes the area - it also meant she was able to make herself available at minimal notice - something none of the other agents could offer.
